I have a Toyota Rav4, 2004 Honda Accord and 1999 Mercury Sable. I am amazed that I always get the same $14.95 oil change coupons from GoodYear, for all three cars. Now, I usually take my cars to Goodyear for service because it is convenient. At least once a year, the 1999 Sable seems to run me a lot more than the 14.95 I think it is when I drop off the car. It has needed things like break pads, tires, alignments, lights replaced (ouch..margin in replacing the lights) and so on. I am wondering why the Ford dealership or Honda dealership hasn’t sent me a "free oil change" coupon for that car. If I were a dealership that offers services, I would absolutely give free oil changes away for cars between 50,000-80,000 miles. I know that if I received a free coupon, I would take my car there for sure. And, I would probably find myself browsing the new cars while I was waiting also, increasing my chances that I would replace it with theirs.
