Check out this blog on marekting and advertising! There is a ton of information. I pulled this out of his blog on direct marketing! If you are selling Direct Marketing to a customer, you may want to take your client here on a call….it is the #1 blog when searching google for “Variable Printing Blog” too. After going to it, click on “Sponsored Posts” and you should see it. This is written very basic, which is the point. It should allow you to take the conversation in many directions.

When you are planning to do some direct marketing, the most important aspect is the targeted list. These lists usually involved not only names, but addresses, phone numbers, and other data relevant to the type of audience you are trying to target. For example, if you are trying to reach housholds in a certain area that have an annual income of more than $100,000, then your list will also likely contain income data as well. There are many, many different criteria you may want to use to target your audience. Go to the article to read it all. http://www.kozlen.com/blog/?cat=8
