If you havent read this book yet, i highly recommend you do. Sales is changing…..do you want relationship builders, Problem solvers, hard workers, lone wolfs or challengers? Well, maybe all right? Which is most likely to succeed in todays business? I think you will be amazed when you read this book.

The power of a special deal is important to drive sales that wouldn’t otherwise happen. For example, I was planning a guys trip for me and my son. I wanted to go to great wolf lodge in Concord. I called and asked if they had any specials. Their answer – NO they don’t unless i spend 2 nights. THeir price? 249 a night for the least expensive room. So instead, I took Ethan to another hotel and we went to a wrestling match. Whats the point — if they would have given me a 10% discount….i would have spent $229 for a hotel, probably another $30 for magic quest, $15 for wand, $50 for dinner/food and instead, they probably had an empty room. The power of giving a discount or doing promotions is important to driving incremental sales and revenue streams.
